Course Description
The VTCT/ITEC Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Treatments is a highly sought-after qualification designed for practitioners who wish to advance their career in non-surgical skin rejuvenation. This nationally recognized Ofqual-regulated diploma equips you with the latest knowledge and practical skills in delivering advanced skin treatments. The qualification covers three key advanced procedures—Skin Needling, Chemical Peeling, and Dermaplaning—providing you with a comprehensive understanding of techniques that target skin concerns such as aging, pigmentation, and scarring.
● The minimum age for entry to this course is 19 years – no exceptions.
● The learner is required to have successfully completed a beauty-related level 3 qualification or medical qualifications, e.g. being a doctor or nurse.
● A good level of English is required to attend this course, you must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
This course will cover the following topics:
● Principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies
● Advanced consultation for non-medical aesthetic therapies
● Advanced skin care for non-medical aesthetic therapies
● Provide skin peeling treatments
● Provide cosmetic skin needling treatments
● Skin analysis and consultation
● Safe blade handling techniques
● Treatment procedures and protocols
● 1 Day a Week
● 15 Weeks
● 10:00am – 5:00pm

● Uniform – You will need a tunic, black trousers, and black flat closed-toe shoes. This attire ensures a professional and hygienic appearance during your work.
● Materials – During your training with us, we provide all the materials you need to complete your practical assessments. This includes tools, equipment, and products necessary for hands-on learning and skill development.
You will complete theory assessments, practical observations, and case studies as part of the qualification requirements. You will also be expected to demonstrate competence in each treatment through live client sessions under the supervision of your expert tutor.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded the VTCT/ITEC Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Treatments, recognized by Ofqual and respected throughout the aesthetics industry.
Graduating with this Level 4 Diploma enables you to offer advanced skin treatments professionally and safely. You will be qualified to work in medi-spas, aesthetic clinics, or run your own practice. This qualification also acts as a gateway to further study, including:
