VTCT Skills (ITEC) Level 5 Certificate in Non-surgical Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation

● The minimum age for entry to this course is 19 years – no exceptions.
● Learners must have successfully completed a Level 4 qualification in a relevant aesthetic or beauty therapy subject (such as Skin Needling, Chemical Peeling, Laser/IPL, or Micropigmentation), or hold a medical qualification (e.g. doctor, nurse, dentist).
● A good level of English is essential to attend this course — you must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.

This advanced course covers the following topics:

● Principles of non-surgical aesthetic procedures
● Client assessment for non-surgical aesthetic procedures
● Advanced skin science for non-surgical aesthetic procedures
● Complication management and emergency plan implementation
● Provide advanced chemical peel treatments for skin rejuvenation
● Provide advanced skin needling procedures for skin rejuvenation
● Provide needle mesotherapy procedures for skin rejuvenation and hair restoration
● Provide light emitting diode (LED) phototherapy treatments for skin rejuvenation

This qualification is aligned with current professional and regulatory guidance, ensuring learners develop the skills to work safely, ethically, and effectively within a clinical environment.
